House of Cards

It has been a recurring theme in my designs to bring the online to the offline, thus the initial idea for the visual piece was an offline wiki. The idea of interlinked pages and the ability to rearrange them made me think of enabling people to create their own narratives from my text. Thus, I divided the entire text into meaningful paragraphs that would make sense in different positions and scenarios.

Inspired by Charles and Ray Eames House of Cards, I designed 54 cards that fit each other to build any number or kind of structure. Flat and linear text could become three-dimensional, non-linear stories. On one side of the card, images from various online platforms, such as flicker and google, were chosen to represent the main concept behind the text on the other side of the card.
